The PINK MACARON Cannes Sparkle

La Côte d’Azur: The Mecca for movie stars, the Glitterati and PINK MACARONs 😉 We adore the french way of life and as we already introduced you to our hot spots in the fashion metropole Paris we are off to fabulous Cannes now!

Très chic et très expensive! With its glamorous seafront hotels and exclusive beach clubs, glamorous yachts and couture boutiques of La Croisette, Cannes is for sure one of the most sparkling places to be.

So let’s dive into this famous little village by the sea!

The Look

Riviera Chic is the main rule for the perfect Cannes look – nautical but super sophisticated. Whether just lounging on the beach or off for some glamorous nights, make sure you’re preened to perfection and looking your best!
The Cannes secret is to look effortless and understated but fabulous – you never know whose yacht you may be invited on 😉

Go for Missoni tunics or sailor stripes and never forget your big Prada sunnies and even bigger floppy sun hats!
Flat sandals with big embellishments suggest lazy trips on the sea, but always have a pair of spiked killer Loubis with you when the sparkling night begins!

The Plages

Z Plage at the Hotel Martinez is where the bottles of champagne pop! Eat under a chic white parasol, overlooking the sea to the sounds of the resident DJ – definitely a place to be!
But our favorite Hotspot is the Miramar Plage: Here you can get the best Pina Colada for a hot beach day and super fresh salads for lunch.

Tip: Bring your own colorful towel with you. You can save the rental charge and add the perfect finish to your beach look! Or just a touch of fun as Minnie would say 😉

The Shops

Stroll around La Croisette: Shopping comes pretty high on our Cannes agenda and you will for sure be tempted to flex your credit card here… Everything you want, everything you need! From Chanel to Celine. And the best about it: Every boutique has its own fluffy watchdog 😉

If you prefer smaller shops, affordable high street brands and chic French labels Rue d’Antibes is the place to go.

The Gourmets

Sweets first: Jean Luc Pelé is one of the best confectioneries in the world! Rainbows of macarons and marshmallows in soft pastels. WE LOVE!
Attention please: The Chanel candy is too sweet to eat 😉

There are lots of Michelin-starred kitchens in Cannes but we also love it simple and traditional: In the historic heart of Cannes you can discover several romantic and typical french restaurants. Our fave: truffle risotto at “Le Manoir”.

The Hotels

You wanna feel like a Hollywood Princess: The Carlton Cannes is the home of many celebs during the Film Festival. Call us if you spot Jude or Leo 😉

If you’re looking for something more calm check in the Hotel Martinez with its grand sweeping staircase, slick spa, palm-fringed pool and fabulously fresh croissants.
