The PINK MACARON’s Guide to Santorini

OMGGGG! This feeling when you come to a place you wanted to go for ages. In my case Santorini (next to Maldives and Zanzibar) and it is EVEN MORE pretty then on all the 100000 pictures I saw before! To tell you the truth: I was close to tears! Usually all the postcard motives are fake but not at Santorini! The most stunning thing is the view because the island (which is an active Vulcan) is so high above the sea which makes every single sunset unforgettable. The world turns PINK! Everywhere on Santorini are fields of flowers, cute windmills and these idyllic white villages.

We stayed at Katikies Hotel and loved EVERYTHING! Form breakfast to the three amazing pools the ambient was just perfect! And always try to get a pool villa upgrade if not already booked 😉

PINK Tips:

Oia: The most beautiful village on the island with super cute shops and the famous churches with cobalt blue roofs matching the endless ocean! By the way the Katikies Hotel is located right in the heart of Oia.

Rent a Scooter to get all around the pretty island to amazing view points and the active Vulcan. From one side to the other it is just a 50 minutes ride.

Lolita’s Gelato: When a greek men went to Italy and learns to make the best ice cream in the world. Go for pistachio flavour or PINK rosé flavour.

Visit a fishing village: Walk down in the valley and visit the super traditional fish restaurant Ammoudi Fish tavern. So yummy! And how to get up the again? Just take a honkey cap 😉 So cute and strong animals!

Now I know why this island is a honeymoon hot spot for couples! I just invented the hashtag: #nohoneymoonneededanymore

Well ok, I would go there again if the wedding bells are ringing 😉
