The PINK MACARON’s Tegernsee Hideaway

As our beloved hometown Munich is is only a hop, skip and a jump away from the beautiful alps we love to jaunt! One of our favorite hideaways: the Tegernsee with it’s crystal clear water and idyllic mountain views. Only 45 minutes from Munich by a pretty little convertible drive or BOB (Bayrische Oberland Bahn;) ride. Just perfect to enjoy the first days of fall…

So here comes our checklist for a fantastic weekend hideaway to the Tegernsee:

1. The most beautiful village around the lake is Rottach-Egern. Nice lokal stores and hotels are waiting for you. We love the romantic Hotel Garni for a weekend stay.

2. Yachting – almost: Rent a cute little electric boat and enjoy the lovely villages from the other side around.
Sporty girls: Sailing is so much fun at the Tegernsee.

3. Beaching at the Fährhütte: Almost like a little Nikki Beach Fährhütte 14 hides at a small little cove with relaxing sundbeds and chill out music. Insider tip: you get the sun beds FOR FREE. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings with a glass of Ice Imperial plus your favorite magazines till the sun goes down.

4. Enjoying some Bavarian Spätzle: Yummy bavarian food! We can never get enough of it.
Our favorite Kaasspatzen at the new Käfer’s restaurant Gut Kaltenbrunn with a stunning lake view. Try the PINK Tarte Framboise as well, dears!

Ihr Lieben,

also für uns zwei Münchner Madl geht es wirklich mindestens einmal im Monat an einen der schönen Seen rund um München. Meistens nach Starnberg oder an den Tegernsee. Irgendwie gefällt uns letzterer ein bisschen besser, da er uriger und weniger überrannt ist. Und der Spitzname “Lago di Bonzo” stimmt auch nur zum kleinen Teil.
Es fühlt sich einfach jedes mal an wie ein herbstlicher Kurzurlaub, wenn man auf seinem kleinen Elektroboot mit Musik dahin schippert: “This summer gonna hurt like a motherf***!”, Oh ja….
