White sands, waving palm trees and blue-green water! This sounds like paradise, ladies. While Sarah already traveled to the Maldives and the Seychelles in the past few years it was Stephanies first time on a tropical beach in the Indian Ocean. How exciting!!!!

We visited the LUX* Belle Mare on a glorious stretch of the east coast of Mauritius and finally had the first fun girls trip together since way too long! The lovely resort is more than pretty with the island’s largest swimming pool and its’ amazing white powder beach, beryl-blue waters and coconut palms. You can see fishes playing in the crystal clear ocean and #tantothemax on the amazing, big, white sun beds.

Anything missing? Maybe a big, yummy freak shake with coffee ice cream and brownies coming right away from the very own, cool ice cream bar at LUX* Belle Mare, made with their very own freshly roasted LUX* coffee and Sarah is usually always missing a proper good coffee on vacation. And for the night? Of course the Mari Kontan Rum Bar is calling, serving local white rum the Sugar Island is famous for. Make sure to try the homemade, flavored Mauritian rums – our favorite: Passion fruit!

But our personal highlight was a private, delicious picnic at the beach and wild horse riding. How cute is our lovely brown buddy? Can we take you home?
