Hi dears, this was my third time in NYC and can you imagine I did not liked the big apple when I first came here? It was crazy – my expectations were super high and I just thought there has to be so much more in NYC. I just felt like after a bad first date. But always give it a second try right! When I came for my second visit at Christmas it was just a magical time and as you know all good things come in threes!
My third time in NYC definitely was my favourite date so far 😉
Spring arrived and now I know my special corners and even I only stayed for three days I could feel the best of NYC vibes. There are only a few tips I want to share with you but you will totally fell in love with NYC if you go there.
The morst important thing for me is the hotel if I only travel to a city for a short getaway. This happens super often as a blogger as we only get short hotel collaborations or need to hurry to the next place soon. The property has to be in the center because nothing better for feeling a city then walking by feed and explore secret corners. Plus it has to have a typical touch from the area. That is why I always stay at the trendy Arlo NoMad.
Located North of Madison Square Park and just a short walk from the Empire State Building, Arlo Hotel NoMad has thoughtfully designed micro guest rooms with playful touches. The rooms are so cozy like a flying bed in the middle of New Yorks Skyline. Also they have a rooftop which seems to be a real secret hotspot. Grab your breakfast, go upstairs and brunch over the roofs of New York City. LOVE!
Another corner of New York I totally love is NoLita! This fashion district offers amazing food like PINK AS FUCK coffee at Pietro NoLita (the new blogger hot spot by the way) or the most beautiful PINK asian ice cream art at New Territories. Just walk around in the spring sun and enjoy the cute shops for sunglasses and papers or eat to much at one of those food places.
To end a day in New York city I adore the cocktails with a view at Jimmys at The James in Soho! Later there might be a little party going on here. So don’t forget your Red Soles.
New York, I can not wait for our fourth date!
