Traveling – first it turns you speechless, then it turns you into a storyteller

You know we bloggers have the honour to travel around the world but every time I visit a new place for the very first time I remember this quote! An imagination turns into my own reality and so I was super exited to visit Russia for the first time in my life! So many of my lovely followers are from Moscow and I loved to see your hometown. I always wanted to go to Moscow in the deepest coldest winter like in one of my favourite books “War and Peace”.

And Moscow really turned me speechless. Here come our PINK travel tips if you are also ready for a new adventure in your life!

PINK Stay

There is only one place I would recommend to stay in Moscow as it is the most historical and wonderfull hotel all over the city: The Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow.

The hotel is located directly in the city center and most of the rooms have a view to the stunning Basilius cathedral or even the Kremlin. You can explore everything by foot. And after a long walk nothing better than the Kempinski Baltschug Spa with a hot sauna. We walked over 30km in only three days!

When the city goes to sleep and only the cathedral and Christmas market is light up there is magic in the air. This is why we love to have dinner in the room because then our room at the Kempinski Baltschug turned out to be the restaurant with the best view in Moscow 😉

The other thing I totally loved about this hotel is the giant breakfast menu. Get the best eggs, pancakes and by the way bliny and caviar all you can eat!

Can not get any better, right?!

PINK Shops

Moskau has the most stylish women so I loved the collections at the big shopping centres like GUM and TSUM. You can find all big luxury designers here but they seem to order a bit different selections than in Europe. I bought a scarf at Louis Vuitton as an early Christmas gift and will unbox it soon for you.

I also love Cara & Co, a concept store to rival Colette in Paris or 10 Corso Como in Milan. Cara & Co brings high-end fashion to Moscow, but with a difference. No logos just high end styles.

PINK Sights

I only had three days in Moscow but for sure we did the basic program by visiting the Kremlin which has also a stunning and even more sparkling Diamonds Fund. Marylin would be so freaking jealous 😉 #diamondsareagirlsbestfriend

If you come in December the Christmas Market next to GUM is just incomparable! I just have to tell you the Russians LOVE Christmas decorations and follow the slogan “more is more” for sure 😉

If you are more into modern art I would totally recommend the Garage MCA. This museum just explodes of colours!

PINK Looks

My Moscow uniform was all white. I love to be matchy matchy with the snow in winter. White skinny jeans and big cozy white or beige knit. I also shopped the classic GG Marmont belt in white to not break the look with a black belt. Best buy for city trips ever? My silver Chanel Gabriel backpack!

PINK Food

Chocoberry Moscow: Almost to sweet to eat! Those chocolate strawberries come in pastel colours or even with the cutest teddy faces.

YUMBAKER: Well you want the teddy look on your coffee, too? Visit Yumbaker for real coffee art goals and delicious cakes.

White Rabbit: Stunning food and award winning cuisine. It reminds me of the KONG in Paris.

See you super soon Moskau! It was awesome!
